Divisional Spotlight: S-2 Division

Welcome to S-2 Division! Composed of Culinary Specialists (CS) and Food Service Attendants (FSAs), they operate and manage the dining facilities onboard Bulkeley. They maintain food service and preparation spaces and equipment, and keep records of transactions and budgets for all food service operations. Bulkeley’s Culinary Specialists receive extensive training in cooking, baking, dining and living area management. S-2 Division also provides food service for distinguished guests and senior military officials when hosting various receptions onboard. Responsible for all aspects of the dining (mess decks) and officer living spaces, Culinary Specialists are vital in maintaining high crew morale during our deployment.
